When it comes to sacrifice, twenty one year old Hip-Hop recording artist Young Wine defines the word. Throughout his young life Young Wine has dedicated over 11 years into strengthening his passion for writing, producing, and performing music. Falling victim to his surroundings, Wine was unable to focus solely on his dreams which allowed him to run astray. During this time he became heavily involved with illegal activities, ran with the wrong crowds, and eventually ended up burying friends. It was then that Wine made the decision to clean up his lifestyle by making the choice to be the first person in his family to attend college.

Due to a lack of funds and an overall disinterest in college, Wine ended up withdrawing; a decision made two years ago that he has yet to tell his parents. “It was days that I didn’t have anything to eat but pickles and hot sauce. I didn’t have anybody to call,” he recalls. Although Young Wine was physically hungry, his passion was fueled by starvation. He made the choice to return back to creating music which began to open many doors for him, enabling him to have a steady income and feel accomplished. While doing so, Wine was able to generate an internet buzz surrounding his single, “Jackson Height” which allowed him to gain entry into Florida and Georgia markets.

With his success, Wine has begun to sell out clubs in these areas in addition to headlining his own “Jook City Take-Over Tour”. Initially Wine began touring to promote his music by agreeing to sleep on floors however due to his ability to deliver he’s now being paid to travel and perform in cities around Florida. While strengthening his street credibility, Young Wine has been crowned Florida’s Next Break-Out Artist, averaging over 20,000 MySpace.com plays a day, as well as averaging between 50 and 70 drops a day for DJs around the world. Additionally, he has ghost written for many artist affiliated with Major Record Labels as he has written R&B, Pop, and Alternative music for other artist.

Continuing on a steady rise to fame, Wine has completed his first Southern Smoke mix tape, “Florida Talk” hosted by Dj Smallz, recorded two hot new tracks “So Fresh” ft. the great T-Pain and “Take You Home” ft. Treal. Still unsigned, but not an amateur to the game, it is safe to say that Young Wine is not just Florida’s next break out artist but America’s next break out artist.
